PacketStorm Communications® announced today the release of their Tornado IP Network Emulator software.

The PacketStorm4XG joins a family of IP network emulators: PacketStorm1800E, PacketStorm2600E, Hurricane, Hurricane II, and Tornado. PacketStorm IP network emulators have been the industry leaders for the past four years. PacketStorm4XG is designed for multiple Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications.

The Tornado joins a family of hardware IP network emulators: PacketStorm1800E, PacketStorm2600E, Hurricane, and Hurricane II. PacketStorm IP network emulators have been the industry leaders for the past four years. Tornado software operates on Windows XP and is designed for simpler and slower applications.

The Tornado provides all of the core WAN impairments with a user friendly graphical interface. In fact, the user interface has two modes: basic and advanced. The basic user interface simplifies emulation for novice users. The advanced user interface provides multiple filters for more complex network models.
